Paulynomial D&D — Player Compendium

Home base for the Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk campaign and your reference for D&D 5e content.

Last updated after Session 4 (Blood in the Square — the Shrine of Luck fight, the Lords’ Alliance writ, and the reconnaissance on Tresendar Manor).

Where We Are

The party arrived in Phandalin, collected their pay from Barthen and Linene, and identified the strange newt figurine from Cragmaw Hideout as a Figurine of Wondrous Power (now named Noodles). They then crossed paths with four drunk Redbrands led by Graul on the steps of the Shrine of Luck — and ended the meeting with four dead Redbrands.

To keep the killings from going on the townmaster’s books as murder, Sildar Hallwinter formally hired the party as Lords’ Alliance contractors. The party was then sworn in by Townmaster Wester as Phandalin protectorate — with the writ to prove it. The town is now openly grateful, and openly afraid of the retaliation.

The party met Sister Garaele at the shrine and accepted her quest to put a question to the banshee Agatha at Conyberry. They also scouted both Redbrand strongholds — the Sleeping Giant (7 Redbrands plus a bartender; two exits) and the secret tunnel in the woods behind Tresendar Manor (2 guards posted at the cave mouth, found via Carp’s tip).
