Trilena Stonehill
Wife of Toblen Stonehill, cook at the Stonehill Inn, mother to Pip and two younger children. Sharper-tongued than her husband, and more openly furious about what the Redbrands have done to her town.
Trilena does the cooking at the Stonehill Inn — and the cooking is the reason most regulars come back. She also keeps the books, runs the kitchen staff, and (to all appearances) makes most of the actual decisions about how the inn is run, while her husband charms the patrons at the front of the house.
She was a friend of Mirna Dendrar before Mirna disappeared. She leaves flowers at Thel Dendrar’s unmarked grave-stone every tenday. She refuses to speak of Mirna in the past tense.
If the party crosses her, she will remember. If the party earns her loyalty, she will remember that too — and the next time someone in Phandalin asks her “who’s worth trusting at the inn tonight,” her answer will start with the party’s names.
