The Shrine of Luck
A small stone shrine to Tymora, goddess of luck and adventurers. Tended by Sister Garaele. The spiritual heart of Phandalin — such as it is.
The shrine sits on the south side of Phandalin, between the Miner’s Exchange and a row of small craftsmen’s cottages. It is little more than a single room of carved stone: a statue of Tymora in the center (a woman in motion, coin in hand, smiling), a row of low wooden benches, and a brass offering bowl that is rarely full and never quite empty.
Townsfolk drop in to ask for a coin’s blessing before any risky undertaking — a mine descent, a long ride, a wedding. Garaele is happy to provide one.
A small back room serves as Garaele’s living quarters: a cot, a writing desk, a small shrine to Tymora more personal than the public one, and a locked chest containing — among other Harper paraphernalia — a silver harp pin.
Resident: Sister Garaele.
