Edermath Orchard

A tidy apple orchard on the east edge of Phandalin, owned and slowly being restored by Daran Edermath.

The orchard grew wild for decades after the original Phandalin fell. Daran has been clearing the underbrush, pruning, replanting, and grafting — the kind of slow work a five-hundred-year-old retired adventurer has the patience for.

His cottage sits at the eastern edge of the orchard: a single-story stone building with a slate roof, a kitchen garden, and a small lean-to shed that contains, among other things, a hauberk that has been through more battles than most people will ever see.

The orchard supplies most of Phandalin’s cider — including the cider at the Stonehill Inn.

Resident: Daran Edermath.
